What if there are no smartphones in our life
Whether we accept it or deny it, smartphones occupies a prominent space in our daily life. Apart from making calls and sending messages, smartphones are our alarm to wake us up in the morning, our map when we go to a new place, our planner to manage the entire to-do list and so on.
With the advent of smartphones and applications, we take pictures, create videos, read blogs, pay bills, book a cab, order food, do shopping, play music, watch movies, listen to a podcast, connect to people, learn a skill and many more on the go.
What if there are no smartphones?
When we wake up tomorrow and there are no smartphones, our life would take a 360 degree turn since smartphone replaced many other gadgets and devices in our daily life.
There are lot of benefits and few limitations to live our daily life without smartphones. Though smartphones are an integral part of our lives, it has its own disadvantages. It does not allow us to live our life in the present moment with lot of distractions and unending notifications from many applications.
Initially it would be bit tough for everyone but slowly we can adapt to the changes to live our life without smartphones. We can pay our bills, watch videos, connect with people using our laptop, desktop or tablet but we need to carry it everywhere and it is not as sleek as a smartphone.
To live without smartphones, we need an alarm clock, a manual planner for our lists, paper books to read, get lost many a times when we go to a new place , meet and connect with people in person. Though it would make us feel like living in the past it helps us to spend our time with less distractions, make us to initiate meaningful conversations with our loved ones and allow us to pursue new hobbies like painting, sewing with paid attention.
